Calvary is a place of worship and we believe that intimate interaction with the Heavenly Father is only realized when we approach Him in His way. In the book of John chapter four, the Lord Jesus states, “…the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him”. The Psalms tell us that we, “enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise”, stating that we are to “be thankful unto Him, and bless His name”. A major portion of our service is dedicated to worshipping the Majesty on High through sacred praise and worship.

Calvary is a place where teaching from the Scriptures and the desire to learn and walk in holiness has a major emphasis. Pastor Mark’s ministry has always been highlighted by the gift of God to teach from His Word, and it permeates through all of the ministries at Calvary Christian Church. Generational transfer of the historical doctrines and truths of God’s kingdom motivates Calvary’s ministry to our families, singles, youth and children. It is our desire to raise up another generation that continues the pursuit of God and His holiness. We strongly support world missions, and are actively endeavoring to prepare strong spiritual leaders that will impact and bless the Body of Christ wherever they go.

Calvary is a place of relationships. According to the Bible, the basic responsibility of a local church ministry is to build up and edify God’s people, and we make every effort to do just that. Through the many fellowship activities and ministries we work tirelessly to promote strong Christian families and support godly, lasting friendships.

Jesus said that the two greatest commandments are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. Come join us at Calvary Christian Church where we seek to fulfill those commandments as we pursue the Lord!
