Calvary Christian ChurchMinistries
Here at Calvary Christian we believe Psalm 127:3 ” Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.” The presence of children is a sign of a vibrant church. We want to care for your children as Christ admonished in Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said,”Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
At Calvary Christian Church, we believe that praise and worship are an essential part of the New Testament Church’s gathering together. The Bible teaches us that God-centered worship draws the presence of the Lord to His people. It plows the soil of the heart and prepares the believer to hear the Word of God, and it requires active participation. Sacred worship is not a “spectator event”, nor is it meant to entertain the church member or “seeker” – it is a love offering to God!
The youth group at Calvary Christian Church offers a safe haven for young people to be strengthened and encouraged in their walk with God.
The single’s ministry is designed to meet the needs of young people of active college age and beyond.
Here at Calvary there are day to day, real life opportunities for brothers and sisters in the Lord to put their Christianity into practice.
Through caring for and bearing one another’s burdens we fulfill Christ’s law – that we love one another. Please prayerfully consider these ministry opportunities to see if God may be calling you to be the hands of Jesus reaching out to those in times of need!
If you desire to grow in your walk with the Lord and fellowship with other women who have this same goal, we welcome you to the Ladies Ministry of Calvary Christian Church. We meet once a month for teaching on a variety of Biblical topics with particular emphasis on our roles as women.
At Calvary Christian Church we encourage Christian fellowship that produces lasting bonds of friendship and love. We sponsor many weekly, monthly and yearly activities in wholesome environments that nurture a family atmosphere among our church membership. Strong Christian friendship meets the human, God-created need for fellowship. It provides a place where we can receive encouragement and accountability in our daily lives, and offers us the opportunity to minister to the needs of others.
