Academics

Calvary uses the A Beka Book curriculum developed by Pensacola Christian College for all academic subjects in all grades, with the exception of Arithmetic for 6th-8th grades which is published by Bob Jones University Curriculum. We believe it to be the best, most comprehensive curriculum presently available for any Christian school. It is traditional in approach, has a proven track record of decades of success, and is used in thousands of Christian schools worldwide.

Art, music and physical education are taught weekly by a teacher with expertise in that particular area. Computer, drama and foreign language courses are taught periodically for selected grades.

Bible is taught daily by the classroom teacher using A Beka Book materials. Bible study is recognized as of fundamental importance and is a required subject. No other book can so enrich the minds and hearts of men as "The Book of books". Chapel is held weekly and is conducted by the ministry of Calvary Christian Church.
